Welcome to the First Day of School! Important Arrival & Dismissal Details

Dear Grover Beach Families,

We are so excited to welcome our students back to campus tomorrow, Thursday, August 13! As your new Principal, I am truly honored to join this wonderful school community, and I am looking forward to an incredible school year ahead filled with learning, growth, and joy.
To ensure a smooth and safe start for all of our TK–6th grade students, please carefully review the arrival and pickup guidelines below:

• Schedule: Campus gates open at 8:30 AM, and the school day officially begins at 8:45 AM.
• Parking Lot Closures: To keep our students safe while they walk onto campus, the parking lot will be closed from 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM and again from 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM.
• Accessible Parking: Only vehicles displaying a valid disabled parking placard may enter the lot during these restricted times. Please communicate with the crossing guard or custodian on duty for assistance.
• Loading Zone: If you pull up to the loading zone, please remain inside your vehicle. Cars may not be left unattended at any time.
• Pickup Planning: Please coordinate with your child ahead of time on a specific meeting spot at pickup, or park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk onto campus to meet them.
